FUJIFILM Malaysia, led by Managing Director Kensuke Aragane, has announced the release of the upgraded ‘instax mini LiPlay™’ (mini LiPlay), a hybrid instant camera in the instax™ series. Available from 19th July 2024, the new model will come in three new colors: Matcha Green, Misty White, and Deep Bronze. Key updates include a USB Type-C charging port and simplified firmware updates via the smartphone app ‘instax mini LiPlay.’
Enhanced Features and Convenience of ‘instax mini LiPlay™’!
The updated ‘mini LiPlay’ retains its popular features such as the ‘SOUND’ function for recording voice messages and the ‘DIRECT PRINT’ function for printing smartphone-captured images. The new USB Type-C charging port adds convenience, and firmware updates are now easier, requiring only a connection to the smartphone app. These enhancements make the ‘mini LiPlay’ even more user-friendly.
Introducing the ‘instax WIDE 400™’!
The ‘WIDE 400’ is the successor to the instax WIDE 300™, released in 2014. This analog instant camera is compatible with double-card-sized wide format film, ideal for capturing broader scenes and group shots. With simple operation—turning the power on with a single left turn and pressing the shutter button—users can easily snap wide-format photos. The new self-timer function enhances the convenience of capturing group shots, maximizing the enjoyment of wide-format photography.

Since its debut in 1998, the instax™ series has continuously embraced trends and evolving technologies. The lineup has expanded from analog instant cameras to hybrid models, smartphone printers, and compact digital cameras. Creative and Digital Features!
The ‘mini LiPlay’ offers 13 types of design frames and 6 types of filters, with over 60 additional frames available through the smartphone app. These creative tools allow users to add effects to their images, enhancing their photography experience. The app also includes a ‘SAVE PRINTED IMAGES’ function, enabling users to save photos printed with the ‘mini LiPlay’ as instax-framed images on their smartphones for easy sharing on social media.
