Immersive Art Adventure! : Danny Rose Studio Takes Kuala Lumpur by Storm at RXP.KL!

Elevating Art in Malaysia: RXP.KL Welcomes Danny Rose Studio

RXP.KL is making waves in the Malaysian art scene with its latest showcase featuring the highly anticipated creations "Piying Dream" and "Matter of Painting" by the renowned Danny Rose Studio, in collaboration with Temple of Light. With a global following of over 5 million visitors, the Danny Rose Studio is set to captivate audiences in Kuala Lumpur.

A New Dimension of Immersive Experience

At the heart of RXP.KL's exhibition is a projection-mapped room that responds to visitors' presence, creating a dynamic interplay between art and observer. This immersive audio and visual experience invites enthusiasts to engage with the exhibits on a personal level, becoming integral to the artistic narrative.

Piying Dream: A Tribute to Chinese Shadow Puppetry

"Piying Dream" offers an unprecedented showcase of Chinese shadow puppetry, drawing upon over 3,000 meticulously crafted puppets from the Qing Dynasty to the present day. This cherished art form, recognized by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage since 2011, comes to life in a fantastical world of vibrant colors and iconic characters. From the beloved Monkey King to mythical dragons welcoming the lunar new year, this exhibit promises wonder and cheer during the festive season.

Matter of Painting: An Evolving Canvas

In contrast, "Matter of Painting" transforms the walls of RXP.KL into an all-encompassing canvas inspired by Action Paintings of 1950s New York City. Here, an "invisible digital artist" explores a myriad of colors and textures, creating a live painting performance that envelops the audience. This constantly morphing contemporary art installation delivers a sculptural dimension, altering perceptions of volume and depth within the immersive theatre.

Journey into the Extraordinary

As RXP.KL prepares to open its doors on 9th February 2024, visitors can expect to be transported into a realm where technology and art converge. With tickets priced at RM60 for adults, RM42 for youths, students, seniors, and OKU, and RM30 for children, don't miss the opportunity to be part of this unparalleled artistic journey. "Piying Dream" and "Matter of Painting" at the Temple of Light promise to set a new standard for immersive art experiences in Malaysia, bending minds, inspiring creativity, and touching hearts along the way.
