Malaysia is charging forward in the race to net zero. IGEM 2025, the country’s flagship green technology exhibition and conference, will take place from 15 to 17 October 2025, with the theme “Race Towards Net Zero: Inclusivity and Sustainability.” Hosted by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability (NRES) and co-organised by MGTC, this year’s edition is targeting RM5.5 billion in business leads, 250 exhibitors, and participants from 50 countries.
Building on IGEM 2024’s Record-Breaking Success
Last year’s IGEM 2024 blew past expectations with RM10.18 billion in business leads and 500 exhibitors from 68 countries, showing the event’s massive international draw. With Malaysia set to chair ASEAN in 2025, IGEM will serve as a showcase of the nation's green leadership on the global stage.

Powerful Partnerships Driving Green Investment
MIDA continues to lead Malaysia’s green investment push, recording a record-breaking RM6.3 billion in potential leads at IGEM 2024. MIDA CEO Datuk Sikh Shamsul Ibrahim said the numbers show growing confidence in Malaysia’s green economy, and MIDA remains focused on attracting high-impact, sustainable projects.
Kuala Lumpur Sustainability Summit Joins the Lineup
For the first time, IGEM 2025 will run alongside the Kuala Lumpur Sustainability Summit (KLSS) from 14 to 16 October, uniting global thought leaders to discuss climate action and regional resilience. KLSS and IGEM will form a powerful double-header for sustainability in ASEAN.
A Proven Platform with a Global Legacy
IGEM has welcomed over 670,000 visitors from 126 countries since its launch and generated more than RM58 billion in business leads. Now recognised by the Malaysian Book of Records as the Longest-Running Green Tech Exhibition in Malaysia, IGEM 2025 is ready to set a new benchmark for green innovation and climate leadership.
