A Bold New Design Language for Gen Alpha and Beta
Perodua is officially turning the page to the next chapter of its electric vehicle roadmap. At the Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show 2026 (KLIMS 2026), the national carmaker shocked the crowd by pulling back the silk on its latest B-segment prototype, aptly named Chapter 2—or simply C2. Created entirely by Perodua’s young and talented local designers, this striking concept car is heavily inspired by Malaysia’s upcoming tech-native Alpha and Beta generations, moving completely away from the angular aesthetic of the brand's earlier EM-O concept.
Made by Malaysians, Driven by Artificial Intelligence
The C2 isn't just a lesson in futuristic styling; it is a full-blown preview of the brand's upcoming mass-market EV baseline. Underneath its sleek exterior, Perodua is embedding high-tech Artificial Intelligence (AI) directly into the driving experience. The prototype boasts an advanced suite of AI driving assistance features, including real-time dynamic navigation, live public charging station telematics, active traffic updates, smart assisted parking, and layered anti-theft security systems to handle tight urban maneuvers flawlessly.

Seamless Integration with the P-Circle Super App
Beyond its physical hardware, Perodua is aiming to create a unified lifestyle ecosystem right from the cockpit dashboard. The C2 introduces deep integration with the company's proprietary P-Circle super app. This vehicle-to-cloud synergy allows future drivers to effortlessly unlock a world of digital conveniences mid-transit, spanning everything from a secure in-car e-wallet app for seamless payments to triggering priority delivery for genuine factory spare parts.
Shaping the Future of Affordable Local Mobility
According to Perodua President and Chief Executive Officer, Dato’ Sri Zainal Abidin Ahmad, the C2 expands on the brand's core narrative of creating vehicles "by Malaysians for the world." Serving as the structural and technological basis for Perodua's next-generation production EVs, the automaker is keeping a close eye on public reception. The brand is actively inviting showgoers to share their feedback to ensure that the final, road-ready product exceeds consumer expectations.
Experience the Tech Showcase Firsthand
If you want to glimpse the future of Malaysian roads, Perodua's pavilion at KLIMS 2026 is the place to be. Alongside the C2 concept car, the national car company has transformed its booth into an interactive tech wonderland. Visitors can head over to experience a multitude of futuristic attractions firsthand, including autonomous interactive robots, cutting-edge drone displays, and live demonstrations of the full P-Circle digital ecosystem.
