Ramadan is all about togetherness, gratitude, and of course—fantastic food. This year, Wyndham Grand Bangsar takes iftar to another level with their Sajian Warisan Nusantara buffet, bringing an irresistible spread of flavors and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. If you’re looking for a place to break fast in style, this is it.

A Grand Welcome & Cozy Ambience

From the moment I stepped in, I could feel the Ramadan spirit. The soft lighting, beautifully decorated space, and friendly staff made it feel like home—just with a much, much bigger dinner spread! Whether you're here with family, friends, or colleagues, the spacious layout ensures a comfortable dining experience without feeling crowded.

The Star of the Show: The Buffet Spread

Let’s talk about the food—because that’s why we’re here, right? The buffet was a dream come true for any food lover, with stations dedicated to authentic Malay flavors, succulent meats, and refreshing drinks.

Signature Roast Lamb

– This was, without a doubt, the highlight of the night. Juicy, tender, and perfectly seasoned, it had that melt-in-your-mouth texture that kept me coming back for seconds (and thirds!).

Nasi Briyani

– Fragrant, fluffy, and packed with spices, this paired beautifully with the roast lamb and rendang.

Beef & Chicken Rendang

– Cooked to perfection with a thick, flavorful gravy, this was comfort food at its finest.

Fresh Seafood Galore

– From grilled fish to prawns and squid, seafood lovers are in for a treat!

And let’s not forget the live cooking stations—watching the chefs grill satay over open flames, deep-fry crispy pisang goreng, and prepare fresh roti canai added an extra touch of excitement to the dining experience.

Cooling Down with Refreshing Beverages

With all that rich and flavorful food, I needed something refreshing to balance it out. Their coconut shake was an absolute lifesaver—it was creamy, ice-cold, and had the perfect hint of sweetness. I also loved the air bandung and teh tarik, which were great companions to the meal.

Sweet Endings: The Dessert Counter

If you have a sweet tooth, you’re in for a real treat. The dessert section was packed with local and international delights, from kuih-muih to Western pastries. My top picks?

Onde-Onde – Chewy glutinous rice balls filled with rich, melted gula melaka.

Serawa Durian – Creamy, thick, and full of durian goodness, this was a must-try.

Ais Kacang & Cendol – A perfect way to cool down after a hearty meal!

Final Thoughts: Worth Every Bite

Between the amazing food, top-notch service, and cozy atmosphere, Wyndham Grand Bangsar has nailed the Ramadan buffet experience. Whether you’re here for the roast lamb, the live cooking stations, or just to enjoy quality time with loved ones, this buffet is well worth it.

Would I come back? Absolutely. And next time, I’m bringing an even bigger appetite!
