If you’ve been waiting for an electric car that doesn’t cost as much as a condo down payment, this might be it.
TQ WULING has officially launched the TQ WULING Bingo EV in Malaysia, and it’s shaping up to be one of the most affordable electric vehicles you can buy right now — with prices starting from RM67,800.
Better yet, it’s locally assembled, comes with solid warranties, and early buyers get a bunch of perks that make the deal even sweeter.
Meet the TQ WULING Bingo EV: Small, Cute, and Built for City Life
The Bingo EV is a compact electric hatchback designed with everyday Malaysian driving in mind — think city commuting, grocery runs, and weekend outings.
It’s offered in two variants:
Bingo Pro – RM67,800
Bingo Max – RM72,800
With the launch promo, prices can drop to RM62,800 for the Pro and RM67,800 for the Max after rebates.
Both variants are powered by a 50 kW electric motor producing 68 PS and 150 Nm of torque — more than enough for smooth city driving.

How Far Can It Go on One Charge?
Range anxiety? Not too bad here.
Bingo Pro: up to 333 km (CLTC)
Bingo Max: up to 410 km (CLTC)
The Pro uses a 31.9 kWh battery, while the Max gets a bigger 37.9 kWh battery — ideal if you want fewer charging stops.
Fast charging can take the battery from 30% to 80% in around 35 minutes, while a full charge at home takes about 4.5 to 5.5 hours, depending on the variant.
Early Buyers Get “Bingo’s Fabulous 5 Perks” (Worth Over RM12,000)
If you’re among the first 500 buyers, TQ WULING is throwing in five pretty attractive perks:
RM5,000 cash rebate
8-year EV battery warranty + 8-year motor warranty
Low monthly instalments from RM625
Free 7kW wallbox charger, portable charger & premium tint
Comprehensive insurance with EV-specific benefits
Bookings are open online at tqwuling.my with just a RM50 booking fee.

Retro Outside, Surprisingly Premium Inside
The Bingo EV has a cute, retro-inspired look with rounded edges and a two-tone paint scheme. Malaysians can choose from:
Milky White
Neon Blue
Lavender Purple(all with a black roof)
Inside, it feels more premium than you’d expect at this price point:
Dual 10.25-inch screens
Apple CarPlay & Android Auto
Leatherette seats in “Caramel Latte” colour
Rotary gear selector
15 storage compartments
Boot space up to 1,240 litres with seats folded
Basically, small car outside, practical inside.
Safety Isn’t an Afterthought (6 Airbags Included)
Here’s something interesting: Malaysia is the first market globally to get the Bingo EV with six airbags as standard.
Other safety features include:
ABS, EBD & ESC
Blind Spot Warning
Tyre Pressure Monitoring System
Low-speed pedestrian alert
Electronic parking brake with Auto Hold
Not bad at all for a budget-friendly EV.

Battery Safety: Zero Fire Incidents (So Far)
The Bingo EV uses SGMW’s MAGIC Battery, which has reportedly been tested across more than 3 million EVs worldwide with zero recorded fire incidents.
It comes with:
IP68 water and dust resistance
Overcharge and short-circuit protection
Thermal management for Malaysia’s hot weather
Which means it’s designed to survive heavy rain, floods, and everyday wear and tear.
