Breathing New Life into a Historic Beachside Haven

Selangor's iconic coastal town is set for a massive transformation. LSH Capital, Permodalan Negeri Selangor Berhad (PNSB), and Seriemas Development have officially launched the Morib Rejuvenation Project, offiated by Selangor Chief Minister YAB Dato' Seri Amirudin bin Shari. The multi-phased initiative aims to elevate Morib from a quiet weekend seaside retreat into a premier coastal leisure destination. Beyond boosting local tourism, the project seamlessly integrates into the state’s regional development strategy, creating new economic opportunities for the Kuala Langat community while preserving the region's rich heritage.

A Modern Upgrade for Sri Morib Golf and Country Club

At the core of this revitalisation effort is the iconic Sri Morib Golf Course. Over a two-year timeline, the existing 18-hole, par-72 course will undergo extensive upgrades to modernise its layout and facilities. In addition to the golfing enhancements, five acres of adjacent beachfront property will feature a brand-new clubhouse and a modern hotel apartment complex. These additions are designed to attract avid golfers, families, and international visitors seeking high-quality recreational options within easy driving distance of the Klang Valley.

Building an Integrated Township for the Future

The transformation extends far beyond the greens. Across 150 acres of land, a master-planned mixed-use development will be rolled out over the next ten years. With an estimated Gross Development Value (GDV) of RM850 million, the project encompasses both residential and commercial zones designed to support long-term urban living. Complemented by ongoing public infrastructure initiatives—such as the West Coast Expressway connectivity and the Pantai Morib beach revitalisation—the development establishes a robust framework for sustained economic growth in Southern Selangor.

Driving National Tourism Agendas for Visit Malaysia 2026

Positioned as a key contributor to both Visit Malaysia 2026 and Visit Selangor Year 2026, the project capitalises on the rising global demand for niche sports tourism. Golf tourism, identified as a high-yield sector by the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, plays a strategic role in drawing higher-spending travellers to the region. By modernising regional facilities, the partnership ensures Selangor remains a frontrunner in sports and eco-leisure tourism.

Strategic Synergy Driving Regional Prosperity

The public-private partnership brings together key industry leaders under LSH Capital's "BEST Collaboration Framework," with LSH Best Builders leading the development alongside Besteel Engtech and landowners PNSB and Seriemas. Aligned with the Second Selangor Plan (RS2) 2026–2030 and the Integrated Development Region in South Selangor (IDRISS), the project balances modern real estate development with environmental responsibility. Ultimately, this joint effort establishes a recurring revenue model for stakeholders while securing a vibrant future for Morib's local community.
