A Multi-City Comeback for Chinese New Year 2026
Tiger Beer has ushered in Chinese New Year 2026 with the return of Tiger Town, now reimagined as a multi-day, multi-city celebration. Launched on 23 January at LaLaport Bukit Bintang City Centre, the event marks its second year with a bold expansion to Penang, reflecting Tiger Beer’s continued commitment to bringing high-energy festive experiences to Malaysians nationwide.
A Launch Steeped in Tradition and Modern Energy
The opening night in Kuala Lumpur set the tone with a ceremonial gong-striking by HEINEKEN Malaysia’s management team, followed by Tiger rockets, firecrackers and a dynamic lion dance performance. Blending contemporary spectacle with traditional rituals, the launch symbolised prosperity, courage and momentum for the year ahead—perfectly aligned with Tiger Beer’s 敢敢冲 (Dare to Charge Forward) spirit.

Music Takes Centre Stage
Live performances form the heartbeat of Tiger Town. In Kuala Lumpur, festival-goers are treated to high-energy sets from acts such as 3P, Chang Yong and Joe Chang, alongside specially curated performances by An Livehouse. The lineup combines festive favourites with modern flair, creating a soundtrack that energises crowds and sets a celebratory mood throughout the event.
Interactive Games and Community Play
Beyond music, Tiger Town invites visitors to take part in themed, squad-based games inspired by the brand’s bold philosophy. Designed to test speed, coordination and teamwork, these interactive challenges transform friendly competition into shared festive moments, reinforcing the communal spirit of Chinese New Year.

A Curated Local Market Experience
Developed in collaboration with Lesgo Market, the curated marketplace surrounds the main stage, showcasing local vendors, creators and eateries. Rooted in grassroots creativity, the market adds depth to the festival experience while highlighting Tiger Beer’s support for local communities and craftsmanship.
Fashion Meets Festivity with Tiger x atmos
Adding a lifestyle dimension to the event is the Tiger x atmos: Spirit of the Tiger collection. Created with the renowned Tokyo streetwear label, the collection blends traditional Japanese calligraphy with bold graphic storytelling inspired by Asian street culture. The collaboration brings the Dare to Charge Forward spirit into wearable form and is also available at selected atmos stores and online.

From Kuala Lumpur to Penang
Tiger Town continues at LaLaport Bukit Bintang City Centre until 25 January 2026, before making its Penang debut at Gurney Paragon Mall, George Town, from 13 to 15 February 2026. With its mix of music, games, fashion and community-driven experiences, Tiger Town positions itself as one of the standout Chinese New Year celebrations of the season.
