The visit also marked the original FIFA World Cup Trophy’s first return to Malaysia in 12 years, reaffirming the nation’s deep-rooted passion for football and its place among only 30 FIFA Member Associations selected worldwide for the tour.

The trophy’s arrival was marked by a prestigious handling and arrival ceremony at Subang Skypark, where the original FIFA World Cup™ Trophy was officially welcomed before continuing its journey to Sunway Pyramid. The carefully choreographed ceremony underscored the trophy’s global significance and Malaysia’s pride in hosting this iconic symbol of football history.
