The Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC), in collaboration with the Tourism Productivity Nexus (TPN), successfully organized the Commitment Appreciation Ceremony and Advocacy Kit Handover for the Sugar Reduction Campaign in Malaysian Hotels. The event was held at the Productivity Hall, MPC Kuala Lumpur, bringing together key stakeholders from the tourism and hospitality industries, including leaders from the Ministry of Health Malaysia (KKM).
A Collective Commitment to Health and Productivity
The campaign aims to encourage hotels across Malaysia to reduce sugar consumption and address food waste, aligning with efforts to enhance guest well-being and promote sustainable business practices. The initiative garnered participation from 72 hotels, with 20 hotels attending the event in person to receive advocacy kits as a symbol of their commitment.
